The World Vision Experience Exhibit is making one scheduled stop in Austin during its nationwide tour. Visitors don headsets and hear four children tell their stories while they move through life-size sets. Focus will be on three places: a Syrian refugee camp in Lebanon, a brothel town in Bangladesh, and an area of extreme poverty in Uganda. Exhibit tells about the help World Vision is providing to the children, their families and the communities they live in. The Lakeway Church is providing their parking lot for this event at 2203 Lakeway Blvd, Lakeway, 78734. Dates: February 19-21, 2016 Hours: Friday 11-6 Saturday 10-6 Sunday 9-2:30. This exhibit is free and handicapped-accessible. Visitors can reserve a front-of-the-line spot (for one or a group) at worldvisionexperience.org. Walkups are welcome. Heated tents will be on site. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization tackling global problems associated with extreme poverty. Their focus is in on the health, protection and education of children.
