Nominate Seniors for a Visit from the Shade Brigade

Help us help seniors beat the heat! The Shade Brigade is standing by, waiting for your call! Since seniors are more susceptible to heat stroke than younger people, our mission is to help local seniors stay safe, cool, and healthy this summer. Contact us with your nomination, and the friendly Shade Brigade will visit that senior and deliver a free ''Stay Cool'' pack full of useful items. (And yes, you can nominate yourself!) The Shade Brigade is composed of dedicated volunteers, who work at Lakeway's own Emeritus at Vista Oaks Assisted Living and Retirement Community, which is sponsoring the Shade Brigade campaign through Sept. 3 as a free, community service to area seniors.
