NEW DAY Children's Chorus

Thursdays beginning September 8. New Day Children's Chorus will rehearse Thursdays, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Children (both boys and girls) in the second grade (or seven years old) through the eighth grade are invited to audition for this new children's chorus. The goal of the New Day Children's Chorus will be to sing with excellence and to develop the musical, emotional and spiritual growth of all members. This chorus will sing a varied and eclectic repertoire which will include popular, secular and religious songs. New Day will sing for community events, civic organizations, retirement communities and assisted living centers, and other secular and religious venues. No previous music experience is required. The chorus will be directed by Mark Savage-Rains, Director of Music for The Lakeway Church, and the chorus will be accompanied by virtuoso pianist, Nancy Nichols. There is a fee for their participation.
