The topic for this workshop will be: “Networking GAP Insurance:   Strategic Connections, Strategic Planning”


Presented by Greg Morrison (Morrison Law Firm and Westlake Chamber President) and Joyce Allen (Allen Impact Incentives). We all have some gaps in our networking efforts and plans. In this presentation, you will learn some helpful hints about how to fill those gaps, increase the effectiveness of your networking efforts and, generally, how to be more intentional in your networking. Specifically, you will hear:


* About the different networking “personalities” and how to deal with them when you encounter them at a networking event

* How to be more strategic at networking events by doing some planning beforehand (“Who is on your Networking Bus?”)

* What to do after a networking event and before the next event to turn those business cards you collected into some sort of meaningful connection

* How to strategically use the 5-30 minutes most networking groups afford attendees prior to the actual start of a meeting.

Overall, you will learn how to plan more strategically for your networking meetings and how to make the important connections while at them.
