Jaime Bush Cardinal is a Boots-on-the-Ground veteran retailer who has owned Point of Origin in Lakeway for 8 years. She began her retail career at the age of 15 in Indiana working in a small mom and pop candy store. In 2003, she relocated to Austin to open the Nordstrom at Barton Creek. With a passion for small business, she set a dream to own her own gift boutique. In 2007, Jaime and her family partners purchased Point of Origin, a Lakeway tradition started in 1993 by Diane Webb. Originally an 800 square foot stationery and greeting card store in the ?Old Randall?s Center?. As Lakeway grew, so did Point of Origin, today in its 3rd location a 3500 square foot home to fashion apparel, accessories, home décor, gourmet, and more.
Jaime loves living and working in the Lake Travis community, and giving back to the community that supports her. Point of Origin donates through their FUNdraising events more than $10,000 annually to local non-profits.
Ben Archer, State Farm Insurance is originally from Louisiana, where he grew up, attended college, and met his wife Erin.
They lived in New Orleans prior to Austin until Hurricane Katrina made the decision for them that they would change careers and locations.
Prior to State Farm, Ben worked for AFLAC for 7 years. He moved to Austin in September of 2006 and started his State Farm agency in November of that year. In the last 8 years, he and his team have grown that agency from $600,000 in premium to over $5,000,000, which is an average of 30% growth per year.
For the last 5 years his team has qualified for the State Farm Chairman?s Circle award which is given to approximately the top 3% of agents nationally.
He also has 4 rather remarkable children ages 9, 8, 5 and 3. Andrew, Emily, Nicholas, and Samuel.
Ben and his family could not be more blessed or happy to call Lake Travis home!
