Presentation by: Ralph Yznaga will be discussing good practices for any size advertiser to follow and keep their message reaching the right audience. He will also be telling humorous stories from his life at advertising agencies.
Ralph Yznaga, a San Antonio native, attended the University of Texas, where he earned a BS in Advertising. Following graduation in 1982, he spent the next 20 years in New York City working at ad firms like J. Walter Thompson, Young & Rubicam, Saatchi and Saatchi and Lowe Worldwide. There, he helped create global brand campaigns for clients like AT&T, Mercedes, Heineken, Courtyard By Marriott and Saab. In 2002, he returned to Austin and worked the following ten years at GSD&M Advertising on accounts like Southwest Airlines, AT&T, Hallmark, Zales, Air Force, World Market, Lennox and more. He is currently the Executive Creative Director at MOSAK Advertising and Insights in Bee Cave and helps create campaigns for clients as diverse as large casinos, 3M, Iron Cactus Restaurants, Sun City and more.
He happily lives on Bee Caves Road with his lovely wife, and two wonderful daughters. In April, he had his first book published, "Living Witness: Historic Trees of Texas" (2012, Texas A&M University Press) The book and exhibit has been a great success, selling over a 1000 copies in its first month.
