Living Last Supper

The Lakeway Church will present a moving drama of The Living Last Supper in the Sanctuary. The play takes place in the Upper Room; the set is based on Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting of The Last Supper. Each disciple has an intense soliloquy in which he reflects on how he came to be a disciple of Christ, how knowing Jesus has changed him and questions whether or not he himself could be the betrayer. At the end of the drama, we've added an epilogue: the fates of each of the apostles. It's a fascinating end to the presentation! The performances are on Wednesday and Thursday evenings during Holy Week, April 16 and 17, at 7:00 pm. We encourage parents to bring their older children to the Wednesday performance; free nursery care will be available beginning at 6:30 pm both evenings. There is no charge for these performances.
