Lakeway Players will present ''Play On!'' by Rick Abbot - at the Lakeway Activity Center

March 29, 30, 31, The Lakeway Players will present Play On! by Rick Abbot, at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105, Cross Creek, Lakeway. Doors will open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.00, with reserved table seating. BYOB, set-ups provided. Purchase tickets at the Activity Center, BEGINNING THURSDAY, MARCH 1.

This fast-paced comedy involves an amateur theater group that is trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong, DOES. If you have ever wondered just what goes on during rehearsals of a community theatre production, this will give you an hilarious look into the madcap mixups that occur.
