Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party On Saturday, June 7th from 10:30am to noon, join us in celebrating the start of summer! Tiny Tails to You! will bring their baby animal petting zoo, the Nowhere Men Beatles cover band will play some tunes, Be Healthy Lake Travis will provide interactive activities, the Lake Travis Lions Club will offer free eye exams, and kids will be educated and entertained at Hola-Hola! Spanish Story Time. Have your face painted, get a tattoo, enjoy refreshments, make crafts, and get a balloon. Also, be sure to register for the summer reading program and pick up reading logs for the summer. Register for the Summer Reading Program, then track your progress on the summer reading chart located in the Children's Area! After signing up, your name will be placed on our reading chart and for each 5 books or 5 blocks of time you record on the log, we will place a star by your name. Reach the goal of 5 stars and you will receive a Reading Certificate and a free book! Adults can also participate with reading punch cards to win free books. Reading logs are due by Monday, July 28th.
