The library will display artwork from the Lake Travis High School visual arts award winning program during the month of April. The artists reception will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 5-6pm and is open to the public. The exhibit will showcase artwork created by students for the Scholastic Art and Writing regional competition this past February. Established by Maurice Robinson, founder of Scholastic Books Inc., it is the largest and most prestigious recognition program and source of scholarships for creative teens in the U.S. Students Ben Rodgers and April Owusu both earned national recognition in the form of a Silver Key award.
