Monique Threadgill, President, MOSAK Advertising |
|
Monique Threadgill formed MOSAK Advertising & Insights in 2000. Her goal was to create an agency that provided the skills and experience of a large agency with the attention to cost-effectiveness and detail of a small agency. Ms. Threadgill has a proven track record for conceptualizing and implementing strategic marketing plans and an acute sense of not only how to attract business, but also to ensure that the marketing programs are effective and profitable. Ms. Threadgill is keenly aware of the importance of maximum return on the marketing and advertising dollar. She applies this same attention to detail to MOSAK’s clients.
Ms. Threadgill manages the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of MOSAK, which has grown to more than 60 employees and more than $30 million in annualized billings. MOSAK has been listed as one of Austin’s Top Advertising Agencies for the past four years (this year as #14 on the list) and has been recognized four years in a row as one of the Aggie 100 which ranks the top Aggie owned businesses in the world based on compounded annual growth rate.
Ms. Threadgill and MOSAK also dedicate a significant amount of their time and resources to helping out great causes such as the Austin Animal Center, the Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary, the Busby ALS Foundation, Austin Children’s Shelter, the Lake Travis Education Foundation and many other charitable organizations.
Ms. Threadgill lives her life, both personally and professionally, with a high level of dedication and passion. Whether she’s helping clients increase revenues or launch new businesses, polishing her legal skills, researching her real estate license, negotiating employee benefits, chasing around her two young daughters, participating in some kind of competition, learning Spanish or beating you at Pop-A-Shot, her love and energy are inspirational and infectious.
Jonathan Boatwright, Owner - Realty Austin: | ||
Jonathan Boatwright is a licensed REALTOR® and co-owner of Realty Austin. After spending 16 years as an IT professional with Apple, Motorola and Microsoft, Jonathan decided to turn in his employee badge in order to leverage his diverse background in internet technology to fill a void he saw in the residential real estate business. In 2004, Jonathan joined forces with his wife and real estate Broker, Yvette Boatwright, in order to build a different kind of real estate company; one that embraces the latest technology in order to provide innovative systems for their clients and all aspects of their agent's business. Realty Austin has grown to more than 220 top producing agents who together achieved sales of $1.3B in 2013, propelling them to the second highest producing firm in Austin.
In 2012 and 2013, Realty Austin's team of agents raised $65,000 for Habitat for Humanity, and $30,000 for Foundation Communities, each of which were matched by the owners of Realty Austin. This generous team also volunteered more than 1,280 hours to build a Habitat home for a well deserving family. This is remarkable for a group of busy agents who sell 7 times more real estate than the average agent in Austin. Also in 2012 and 2013, Realty Austin was recognized as the #1 Best Workplace by the Austin American Statesman, the #3 Top Workplace by the Austin Business Journal, the 6th Fastest Growing company in Austin, and an Inman News Top Innovator.

Josh Horowitz, Owner - Infamous Brewering Company |

I started in the graphic design world at the age of 19 while in school at NY Institute of Technology.
I earned my BA in communication arts focusing in media production and MA in computer graphics & special effects while working in the film & television production world. Some of my clients include: Victorias Secret, Juicy Juice, Chef Boyardee, SONY, Black & Decker.
After graduation I began working as a packaging designer for Nice Pak Products in New York. I created and managed the art for various wet wipe products including, swiffer, clorox, walmart, cosco, walgreens, cvs, pampers, huggies, ect. as well as they medical wipe division for mckesson, pdi, and a few others.
Around 2004 a former grad school friend offered me a partnership in his web design company Spida Design. While working for Spida I came up with the concept of a beer gift basket company that would be the first of its kind offering everything a dude would want: sports, beer, and salty snacks. The decision to move from NYC to ATX was made when my daughter was born and we wanted to get out of the City and move here. that was Jan 2009, by June of 2010 Beer Bouquet - the Ultimate Guy Gift was born and grew to a nationally recognized brand in a few short weeks.
While running Beer Bouquet I began to homebrew and was quickly consumed with making bigger better beers. In the fall of 2011 while visiting NYC I met Zack at my old watering hole The Hairy Monk. We were introduced by a mutual bartender friend and over a few shots of Jameson decided that we would both give up our current careers and open a brewery in austin.
The rest is history!
