Lake Travis Chamber Mixer and Cash Mob at Art Affair

About This Cash Mob:

Art Affair will be mobbed on Thursday, December 6th by a group of Lake Travis Chamber members and the local community. After the mob, we will be hosted by Art Affair for a mixer with food by Niks italian kitchen. Door prizes provided by Art Affair. Mobsters will bring a minimum of $20 and be given a $10 gift card to use at the event or in the future. They'll be able to purchase handcrafted items, many by local artists in the community. Why is this business worthy of a cash mob?

Art Affair is a new business, owned by a local resident and brings unique and original art to the Lakeway Community. Giving local artists a place to display and sell their art, thus enriching their own lives and the lives of those who purchase their creations.

What makes this business unique?

Art Affair, where customers, artists and the community come together to engage with art and each other.

Exhibiting local and national artists both established and emerging. Works represented include a variety of mediums including, glass, wood, jewelry, sculpture and paintings. Styles ranging from bold contemporary design, to eclectic and whimsical delights.

In addition to the exciting array of artwork the gallery hosts non profit fundraisers and galas. Visitors will be able to observe a working artists studio, take a variety of art classes, and attend weekly "meet the artist" events featuring wine tastings and music from local musicians

ART AFFAIR is also a drop off point for Peaceful dreams (www.peacefuldreams.org ) if anyone would like to bring a new pair of pajamas or stuffed animal to be donated to local childrens shelters.
