Join Keep Austin Beautiful for the first Lady Bird Lake cleanup of 2013! Cleanups of the lake happen every other month throughout the year and offer a wide range of locations to clean. If you're looking to get out on the lake on a kayak or paddle board, sign up for one of our waterway cleanup sites! If you would like to bring your family or stay dry, sign up for a shoreline site! Also, prepare to go on a hunt for the most unique piece of trash to enter in the Most Unusual Item contest. A prize is awarded to the contest winner, plus all volunteers receive a gift certificate to Whole Earth Provisions. On-the-Water volunteers should be 16 or older and be comfortable around water.
