Getting Started with Email Marketing

What you'll learn:
This session will give participants a live, guided demonstration on how to create a promotional email that brings measurable response, how to manage a list of contacts for mass email, how to write a subject line, manage an editorial calendar and timing your emails for the best response. We will discuss list segmentation, graphics, branding, colors and adding links, the importance of tracking and what works best in terms of special offers and promotions.

We will use the leading email marketing service, Constant Contact, as a platform for the class and participants will have a sixty-day trial account at no cost in order to try some of the strategies and best practices covered in this session.

Who Should Attend:
Suitable for all experience levels. Anyone interested in learning more about online event marketing, social media, email marketing and surveys.
