Fourth of July Parade 2012

did in the past, all entries will assemble at the Live Oak Driving Range at 7:00 a.m. and should be in place and ready to begin at 8:15 at the very latest.  The parade route goes down Lakeway Drive from the Live Oak Club House to Cross Creek. The July 4th Pageant begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Activity Center. 

All creative entries, from floats, bands, and golf carts, to walkers and vehicles are welcome to participate in our traditional, unique Lakeway Parade.  We ask that any amplified sound from your entry be patriotic in nature – we

love having more patriotic music.

Entries will be placed in categories for judging – Corporate Business, Civic Organization and Clubs, Schools and Scouts, and General Classification.  Vintage car and convertible entries are wonderful additions to the parade but    will not be judged.  The parade entries will be judged on presentation of the theme, creativity, patriotic emphasis, effort and instant impression.  One entry will win Best of Parade.

We look forward to having you in the Parade.  If you are not the correct contact this year, we would very much appreciate your taking the time to pass this letter and entry form to the correct individual. 

Also, let us know if you have any suggestions for improvement of the parade for this year.  We very much welcome your ideas.
