Feb. 15, 2020 Engineering Day at the Science Mill Kick off Engineering Week at the Science Mill by discovering the world of engineering through the eyes of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Design and build with a host of hands-on activities led by real-life engineering professionals! Can you design a marshmallow bridge that holds weight? How will your paper tower weather gusts of wind? What's the key to building a skyscraper that doesn't topple? Learn tricks of the trade, basic principles of engineering and what a day in the life of a civil engineer actually looks like. Engineering Day activities are included with admission to the Science Mill, and the first 100 visitors will receive free admission, thanks to ASCE! Engineering Day activities will run 12pm-4pm, the museum will be open 10am-4pm. Contact: info@sciencemill.org Location: Science Mill, 101 S.
