Runners will be stampeding their way through Bryan/College Station, Texas on October 10th at 7:30am as the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History hosts its 7th annual Buffalo Stampede! The course begins at the Museum, is USATF certified and the races are timed with Chrono Track System disposable bib tags to allow for accurate timing of all our runners. All Sports Timing is conducting the race and race results will be available at www.allsportstiming.com. Runners of all ages are welcome, and we offer beautiful custom trophies and medals for the top females and males in each age division ranging from 12-and-under to 70 plus! Half-Marathon runners will receive finishers? medals. Overall male and female finishers will receive cash awards ($500 for Half-Marathon, $250 for 5K) as well as special buffalo sculpture trophies. First, second, and third place awards will be given in each 10-year age group. Age-group awards will be buffalo head trophies for first place and buffalo medallions for second and third places. Age groups will be: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+. AFTER the race, enjoy Boonville Days, Brazos County?s ONLY living history fair of frontier skills demonstrations, re-enactors, art, and music. This year, we have expanded our booths and our Chuck-Wagon Cook-off! Fun for the entire family, festive Boonville Days activities are inside and outside the Museum. Runner registration includes free admission to the Museum!
