Local artist and author Carole McIntosh Sikes will exhibit original oil paintings during the month of March with all proceeds to be donated to the library. Sikes, an Austin native, was the first woman to receive a masters degree in painting and print making from the University of Texas. Also a talented writer, Sikes will discuss and sign copies of her book "Hudson Bend and the Birth of Lake Travis" on Saturday, March 19th at 2pm.
