AMERICAN RED CROSS BABY SITTER'S TRAINING COURSE: Parents are more apt to hire a babysitter who can show they have taken this class. Once a student has been certified by the American Red Cross they have had instruction on what to do in case of an emergency, how to avoid dangerous situations, first-aid care of cuts and burns as well as feeding a toddler or infant and changing diapers.
